Farming Simulator 22: Bees
Bees are a big part of farming in real life, and they’re officially a big part of the tidings in Farming Simulator 22 as well. As showcased in some character customization footage some time ago, there’s a beekeeping outfit in the game. This goes along with the beekeeping farms you can add to your field in the game.
Adding Beehives to Your New Farm
There’s a new build mode in FS22, and this brings hundreds of new items for players to add to their farms. That includes a variety of beehives that you’ll have complete control over. The build mode is great for modifying your farm decorating it with a lot of things. If you’re looking to show off or just tidy the place up during a multiplayer party, it’s now easier than ever!
As for the beehives, you’ll have to place pallets across your farm. The honey from these hives will be generated in the form of said pallets. It’s complicated but well worth managing!
Honey Means Money
The only thing sweeter than the honey your bees will produce for you is the money it’ll bring in. Farmers can sell their honey or process it with other ingredients to create cereal. That can be even more profitable if you play your cards right.
Farming Simulator 22 pays so much attention to detail that the right placement of items can be beneficial as well. For example, you can make the yield of your crops rise significantly by planting potatoes, sunflowers or placing canola near beehives. This is a result of pollination that your bees will be responsible for.
To Sum Things Up
FS22 makes bees a bigger part of your farm than ever before. They’ll be a lively addition which can be very helpful but accordingly demanding as well. You’ll have to tend to them and meet your beehives’ needs to make sure they function.
They produce honey which you can sell for great profits and can even increase the yield of some crops. If you aren’t a fan of that idea, there’s a variety of other animals you can tend to instead.
