Farming Simulator 22: New Greenhouses
Playing around as a farmer is fun and all, but things get serious once you step into the complicated world of Farming Simulator 22. This is especially true in winter when all your crops start dying and there’s no way to make profits.
That’s when you build some greenhouses! Regardless of the weather conditions, these handy places can help you generate lots of income all year round. Here’s what you need to know about them.
Vast Variety of Greenhouses
FS22 greenhouses are great for both your soul and your bank account. These come in handy because they magnify the sun’s light, sending it straight to the crops inside of them. This protects them from harsh weather conditions and makes sure that you return to a blooming batch of crops after clearing out snow and dead plants all day long.
The different greenhouse options in the game can be found on the building screen. From here, you can choose small, big, or medium-sized greenhouses, along with what kind of crops to grow in them.
Choose What Crops You Grow
Keep in mind that only specific crops can be grown inside of a greenhouse. Just open the production chain menu and you’ll be able to find details about all your greenhouses. You can manage their production from here as well. Choose what crops you want and how many you want them.
Just don’t forget, greenhouses need water to run. If you don’t supply water, they won’t be able to grow your crops.
Decide What Becomes of Your Product
Naturally, players determine what happens to the products growing inside their greenhouses. By default, the greenhouse will store prepared goods away. What comes next is all up to you. There’s the choice to keep them stored for now to sort through them later.
Sooner or later, you’ll have to decide if you want to sell them or send them to production plants. Production plants include options such as bakeries, where crops like strawberries can be used to make desserts. Even then, you get to choose what happens to things prepared with your ingredients!
