No Creek Farms Rowcrop Ready v1.0

No Creek Farms Rowcrop Ready v1.0

At long last its here!
This is an edit of the fan favorite No Creek Farms map that was converted by Schaben Modding, and reworked by SquatchMonky, Large H, and myself. I took the map a few steps further for my own use, which includes a massive overhaul of the farm yard, and worked with Odom Farm Edits to create a realistic feeling rowcrop experience.

This requires a handful of mods, including Maize Plus, Enhanced Animal System, and some others I’ll Include with the map.
Starting with the farmyard, there is a pasture on the west side of the map, animal trigger is by the gateway, feeding at the bunk along the fence, and straw can go in the shed area. Grazing works in the pasture! The concept was to move cows back and forth between the barn and pasture using the animal cane I have released here on my page as well.

Now for the barn, for the first time publicly released, animated cows in the tiestall! You’ll find a bale elevator trigger near the front, outside, right by the window, for the storage of small square bales which are retrieved using the trigger area just inside the barn by the same window, or by using the storage page in the pause menu. You’ll also find what looks to be a blower pipe outside the barn, leading to the loft. Here you can use a silo blower to store corn stalks or straw, which go to fill the bedding storage for the cows. You cannot manually retrieve this material, it’s now bedding.

The feed room area was reworked, and a large garage door was added for being able to more easily fill the mixer, if using ag bags or a placed bunk silo. The mixer is a stationary unit, you must enter it like a vehicle, and you can custom tailor your feed ration. Using the mixer requires you to use a feed cart, which you fill using the mixer, and drive into the barn, the side closer to the silos, and there you can feed the cows. If you need to feed the outside animals using the silos, by the base of the conveyor is a trigger, that moves the conveyors to a position that you can then back in a mixer or Feed-R-Wagon and fill from the silos. The silos themselves take a variety of different feed types and ferments/stores them until you’re ready to feed.

Also in the feed room area is a group of calf pens.
Barn cleaner is tucked in low, I’ve tested a handful of different manure spreaders, they get in and out of the area fine.
The slurry pit in the corner of the farm yard is designed to use the Houle pump released by 46 Mods

Now for the Rowcrop Ready stuff.

There are 3 types of crops that are now able to be planted in true 30″ rows, 2 types corn, basegame normal corn, and silage corn, and rowcrop soybeans. None of these can be correctly planted by other owners or using Easy Dev Controls. They must be planted with planters specifically set up for Rowcrop Ready, which will include the 4/6/8 row John Deere 7000 planter I’m releasing, and the 12 row International 950 Cyclo that Rooster is releasing. There is still an option to drill soybeans, if that’s what you choose to do. You can also realistically no-till into wheat, barley, or oat stubble!

Planting is a challenge, and takes practice, use your row markers and life will be easier!
Using non-Rowcrop Ready planters will give you a bad result. That should go without saying, but I feel the need to reiterate.

Currently rowcrop soybeans are a separate filltype, from harvesting rowcrop soybeans, they can be either sold or ground using one of the Grinder Mixers I have released. If using the included Animal Food Additons mod.

Questions should be directed here at the comments section, I’ll try to help when/where I can, but I encourage players to help each other and answer questions if you know an answer. Be the community you want to be!
